Reliance Netconnect Broadband Plus Released in Market

Reliance Netconnect Broadband Plus launched

Reliance Communications has launched a new device which promises downlink speed of up to 3.1 Mbps.

They call this new service Reliance Netconnect Broadband Plus.

The company said that the device has the potential of increasing the broadband penetration in the country.

The service offers uplink speed of upto 1.8 Mbps.

Reliance claims that this technology enables them to offer 30 per cent higher downlink rate in comparison to any other wireless internet technology available in the country.

The device would cost Rs 3500 and the company is offering packages at Rs 299 going up to Rs 1750.

The device connects to the computer through the USB port. It would soon go on sale in 35 cities, including Guntur, Hyderabad, Kakinada, Bangalore, Mysore, Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Mumbai and Delhi.

Reliance said that the service is suitable for video streaming, video surveillance, and Internet browsing.

The unlimited plans would have a cap of 50GB data transfer.

The unlimited plans have a limit of 10GB.
